Breast cancer is diagnosed in 1 out of 29 women in South Africa in their lifetime. To improve the chances of finding the disease early, we recommend mammogram every year from age 40 for symptom-free woman. If, however, your immediate family members have been diagnosed with breast cancer you will have an increased risk of having it yourself. During a consultation we will take an in-depth medical history after which we determine your risk factors and assist you in managing your specific breast cancer risk.
